Prof. Meir Kohn on Dartmouth Governance

October 3, 2007

There is an excellent piece by Meir Kohn, an economics professor at Dartmouth about the recent changes in its governance.

It is gratifying (although perhaps not surprising upon reflection) to read that Prof. Kohn’s views are of a piece with some of those I have expressed here (and some that never found their way into this blog) because the finance course I took from Prof. Kohn about 20 years was in retrospect one of the best of my Dartmouth experiences: it was a class of around 20 students; taught by someone who did a great job of communicating the concepts involved; and introduced me to corporate finance concepts that have relevance not just in the world of corporate transactions, but in daily life as well.
